Make sure your goals are set accordingly. Don’t under- or overshoot yourself. If you’re talented and have all the abilities needed, by all means go for it. If, on the other hand, you don’t, make sure you plan according to your happiest life.
We can achieve any goal in life. The biggest problem in life is thinking that you can’t do something. It’s the first step to failure. Instead of approaching something with “I can’t do this,” or “it seems too difficult,” approach it with “I got this, no matter what. This is what I’m ready and trained to do. I can do this.” Picture yourself accomplishing it. Then when you proceed to do it, you’ll proceed to success. You’ll succeed in accomplishing it.
Procrastination and laziness have no part in our daily lives. As soon as you think that you are procrastinating, immediately get up and do exactly what you were most scared to do. That way you accomplish that and finish the rest of it in a heartbeat. We are, most of the time, worrying instead of accomplishing. When we drop the worrying, we’re just accomplishing—and we’re winning. That’s when we’re being our best self.
A lack of energy means something’s wrong. Reset everything that you’re doing when it comes to your energy. Make sure you’re up at 8:00 in the morning and you’re asleep at 8:00 at night. Make sure you take a cold-plunge shower and eat your healthiest foods. Pay attention to how your energy comes back and what works the most. That way you can critique it. Take good care of yourself. Go get a massage and make sure they use the best oils for fatigue.
You need to fix everything in your lifestyle. No more drinking if you’re a drinker. No more drugs if you do drugs. Those two things are about the worst things you could ever put into your body. They don’t call it intoxication for nothing—the word “toxic” is right in the middle. We are allergic to alcohol, meaning we need to stay away from it at all costs. It’s not meant to go in our bodies. As I said above, get up at the right time, eat at the right times, and go to sleep at the right times.
Start loving yourself and loving your job. Say your prayers in the morning and say what you’re happy for and grateful for. You can write these things down, or you can say them out loud. It’s good to do this before bed and right when you wake up. A lot of people I know get on their knees and do these things at those times. But everyone is different, and everyone enjoys things how they enjoy them.
Don’t go above and beyond. Think in moderation and do things in moderation. All things in moderation. To have temperance is to do things in moderation. Overindulging in anything is a big, big problem. No matter what, it leads to problems. It wreaks havoc on our body, mind, and spirit.
Take care of you.
