The greatest relationship you’ll ever have is the one with yourself—and it’s worth building. Talk to yourself the way you’d talk to someone you love. Be patient with yourself. Forgive yourself when you mess up (everybody does).
Figure out what you actually love—not what you’re supposed to love. Music? Drawing? Being outside? Helping people? When you know what fills your cup, you can go do more of it, and less of the stuff that drains you.
You don’t have to say yes to everything and everyone. Protecting your time and your peace isn’t rude. It’s how you stay you.
